Privacy Policy.

When you fill in our quote form or contact form, we collect:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number
• your suburb
• the type of work you are after
• your budget range
• your description of the job or your message to us
• up to three optional photos of the job site

You do not have to fill in every field, but if you leave things out we may need to call you for the missing detail before we can quote. We also collect basic information about how people use the website. See the cookies section below.

Photos you upload are stored privately. They are not published on the website and are not publicly accessible. Our team views them through time limited links that expire.

Please do not include other people, number plates, or anything sensitive in the photos. We only need to see the site and the problem.

We use what you give us to:

• reply to your enquiry
• prepare a quote
• arrange and carry out the work you ask us to do
• keep records of jobs we have quoted or completed

We do not sell your personal information. We do not add you to a marketing list or newsletter from a quote enquiry.

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and handle enquiries. They only get what they need to do their part:

• Supabase, which hosts the database holding your enquiry and photos. This data is stored on servers in Sydney, Australia.
• Vercel, which hosts the website itself on a global content delivery network.
• Resend, which sends the email notification to us and the acknowledgement email back to you.
• ClickSend, which sends the SMS alert to our service manager.
• Anthropic, which helps us draft a reply. See the next section.
• Google, which provides our website analytics and the embedded map on our contact page.

We may also share your information with a tradesperson or supplier working on your job, or where we are required to by law.

Information sent overseas

Some of these providers are based in the United States, including Vercel, Resend, Anthropic and Google. That means your enquiry information, or parts of it, may be handled or stored outside Australia. We choose established providers with published security and privacy commitments, but overseas handling means your information may be subject to laws other than Australian law.

To help us reply quickly, the text of your enquiry is sent to Anthropic, an artificial intelligence provider based in the United States, which prepares a suggested draft reply for us.

A person at CTK reads every enquiry and decides what to send. No quote, price or decision about your job is made automatically.

We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and identifiers to tell us how many people visit the site, which pages they read, and roughly where they are. We use this to improve the website, not to identify you personally.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site will still work.

Our contact page includes an embedded Google Map, which Google may use to set its own cookies.

We keep your enquiry and any photos for as long as we need them for your job, and after that for as long as our tax and warranty obligations require. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Access to enquiries is limited to the people at CTK who need it. Our database and file storage are password protected and access controlled, and photos are only reachable through expiring links. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email or call us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, normally 30 days. We do not charge for this.
